All items are railroad marked (top, bottom or both), unless clearly stated. Marked items are the best values in the long run. We do,
however, consider patterns such as "Winged Streamliner", "Golden Rocket", or "Hill", which are often marked only with a recognizable logo,
to be top marked.

The Golden Rocket was the planned "new" name for the Golden State, when that train was streamlined in about 1948.
When all was said and done, the Golden State kept its old name, but the dining china had already been ordered. This
pattern was apparently used on the streamlined Golden State, in the new "Fiesta"-themed dining cars, but never reordered.
This vintage advertisement depicting a dining car scene aboard the new Golden State clearly shows dessert about to be
