Flora of The South Pattern
There is a very similar pattern, usually called "Flowers of the Southland", that is nearly identical to this pattern. Indeed, the only difference is the color of the rim stripe, which is light green on the ACL version, and black on all others. No matter what they call it, insist on the green stripe version – the ACL did. Black stripe pieces are much more common, were made for anyone who would buy it (but not the ACL) until at least the mid-1970's, and have no value to a RR china collector. Dishonest on-line dealers are selling just such sets as ACL china right now - they know better but still they want your money - don't be their next victim. CHECK THE BACKSTAMP! - And remember what this tells you about such a dealer. Similar pieces with no stripe also have no railroad china collector's value.
