Flora of The South Pattern

There is a very similar, non-RR pattern, that is nearly identical to the ACL pattern. The only difference is the color of the rim stripe, which is light green on the ACL version, and black on all others.  No matter what they call it, insist on the green stripe version –- the ACL did.  Black stripe pieces are much more common, were made for anyone who would buy it (but not the ACL) until at least the mid-1970's, and have no value to a RR china collector.  Dishonest dealers sell black stripe items as ACL china - they know better but still they want your money - don't be their next victim.   And remember what this tells you about such a dealer.  Besides the stripe, most ACL items were backstamped for the ACL.  Similar pieces with no stripe also have no railroad china collector's value.
