The Queen & Crescent Route was a consortium of the Cincinnati, New Orleans & Texas Pacific; the Alabama Great Southern; and the New Orleans and Northeastern, which together offered through service from Cincinnati "the Queen City" to New Orleans "the Crescent City".  Southern Ry. was always the dominant partner and other routes, particularily to Florida destinations, were marketed under this name.   The Q&C was apparently absorbed into the Southern Ry. system in 1917, when the Southern bought the New Orleans & North Eastern.
